Product Info

Yes – every FibroTech panel comes with a 2-year warranty that covers both material and workmanship defects.
We build our panels from high-quality, durable materials designed to perform far longer than cheap foam alternatives. This warranty underlines our commitment to premium quality: you not only get reliable sound absorption but also long-term design value for your space.

FibroTech panels combine natural oak veneer, premium MDF slats, and a recycled felt backing to deliver both style and performance.
The oak veneer provides a clean Scandinavian look available in multiple finishes. Meanwhile, the MDF core adds strength and acoustic mass for reliable sound control. Finally, the felt backing — made from recycled plastic bottles — absorbs sound and reduces echo.

Together, these materials make FibroTech panels decorative, durable, and eco-friendly, offering a balance of design, performance, and sustainability.

Yes – FibroTech panels are built with FSC® and PEFC-certified wood and recycled polyester felt, transforming waste into lasting design.
By choosing certified wood and recycled materials, we actively support the green building movement. As a result, our panels improve room acoustics while lowering environmental impact.

For architects and designers working on LEED or other eco-certified projects, FibroTech delivers sustainable acoustic solutions that combine high performance with environmental responsibility.

FibroTech panels are available in pre-finished veneers such as Natural Oak, Smoked Oak, Black Oak, and Walnut.
These finishes highlight Scandinavian minimalism while adding decorative value to any space. Although painting is possible, we recommend using the original finishes for the best look and performance.

For larger projects, we also provide bespoke options in sizes, colors, and finishes. This makes FibroTech the perfect choice for architects, designers, and commercial clients who need tailored acoustic solutions.

Functionality

FibroTech panels achieve an NRC of 0.80, absorbing up to 80% of sound energy.
This high performance reduces echo, reverberation, and background noise—making speech clearer, music more natural, and spaces more comfortable. Whether in a living room, office, restaurant, or studio, FibroTech enhances both the acoustic quality and the overall experience.

Unlike cheap foam alternatives, our panels deliver tested, premium performance you can rely on for residential and commercial projects alike.

They reduce echo and reverberation but do not block outside noise. For true soundproofing, you need heavy construction materials such as drywall, insulation, or acoustic membranes.

If your goal is clearer conversations, better acoustics in studios or theaters, or less noise buildup in open spaces, FibroTech sound-absorbing panels are the right solution.

It depends on the size of the room and your acoustic goals.
As a rule of thumb, covering about 20–25% of the floor area with panels provides strong results. For example, a 400 sq. ft. room typically needs around 10 standard panels, while small offices may only require 4–6.

Practical

FibroTech panels are highly versatile—enhancing acoustics in homes, businesses, public spaces, and creative environments.
In living rooms, kitchens, or home theaters, they reduce echo and improve sound quality. Meanwhile, offices, restaurants, and hotels use them to boost focus and customer comfort. Schools, auditoriums, and churches gain clearer speech, while studios and galleries benefit from accurate sound and stylish design.

Functional and decorative, FibroTech blends Scandinavian minimalism with practical noise control—making it the right choice for almost any space.

FibroTech panels are available in three formats: standard (94” x 23.6”), extra-long (up to 118”), and 20” modular squares.
Finishes include Natural, Smoked, Black, Walnut, and Light Oak, along with special options such as Stone and Hexagon panels. By mixing sizes and styles, you can create everything from minimalist feature walls to bold, bespoke installations—combining Scandinavian design with proven acoustic performance.

Standard wood veneer panels are ideal for dry indoor spaces.
However, in bathrooms, spas, or other humid environments, we recommend our UNIKA laminate series, which is specially designed for moisture resistance. This way, you maintain both durability and modern acoustic design without compromise.

Yes – beyond our standard finishes and sizes, we also create bespoke acoustic panels for special projects.
Architects and designers can request custom lengths, colors, or veneers to match brand identity or space requirements. From restaurants and auditoriums to luxury homes, FibroTech delivers tailored solutions that combine high sound absorption with Scandinavian design.

Install Instructions

Yes – FibroTech panels are designed for easy DIY installation using basic tools.
On walls, you can fix them with adhesive or black screws, while ceilings should always be secured with screws for safety. You can easily cut the panels with a fine-tooth saw to achieve the right fit, and most rooms can be completed in just a few hours.

To make the process even simpler, we provide step-by-step installation guides and videos

No special tools are required—only basics like a drill, saw, level, and tape measure.
For adhesive, use a caulking gun, or a drill when fastening with screws. For the cleanest edges, cut the panels from the felt side using a fine-toothed saw, then sand lightly. To adjust width, simply cut through the polyester backing with a utility knife.

Thanks to this DIY-friendly design, FibroTech panels are easy to install without professional help. For full instructions, see our Installation Guide (PDF)

Most homeowners install FibroTech panels themselves with ease.
However, for larger projects such as offices, restaurants, or auditoriums, professional installation can save time and guarantee precision. FibroTech also collaborates with certified partners for commercial projects, ensuring the same high acoustic performance and Scandinavian design results in every space.

Panels fixed with screws can be removed and reused, making them a smart choice if you plan to move or redesign a space.
By contrast, adhesive installations are more permanent and may cause damage when removed. For the greatest flexibility, we recommend using screws.

Safety

Standard FibroTech panels are decorative and should be installed on fire-rated surfaces. They are not Class A rated on their own.

Yes – FibroTech panels are non-toxic, low-VOC, and completely safe for indoor use.
The felt backing is made from recycled polyester, while the MDF core meets strict low-formaldehyde standards.

Building codes vary by state, but acoustic panels must either be installed on fire-rated surfaces or be Class A rated for public projects.
